St.
Andrew By-The Sea
Is
a Christian congregation comprised of members whose journey of faith has
led them to St. Andrew By-The-Sea where all of God's children are welcome.
We care for and love one another as family. We join in worship on
Sunday Morning to praise God, hear the Gospel, have fellowship with one
another and become inspired to go forth and do God's work in our community..
Who
We Are
We strive to live in the spirit of Jesus Christ, caring for and
ministering to one another, while reaching out to God’s children in need.
We work with other ecumenical groups within the community in an effort to
live by Christ’s command to love our neighbors as ourselves. To do this we
must feed the hungry, clothe the naked, give drink to the thirsty, visit
the sick and those in prison, and welcome strangers.
Worship
Our worship services are liturgical in nature. We believe there
is value in ritual and tradition when we worship together. We endeavor to
provide a meaningful worship experience for the glory of God and for the
spiritual support and growth of our congregation.
Music
We believe that music is an important aspect of worship and those who
provide it are offering a gift that enhances the worship experience of
everyone.
Education
Sunday School is offered for
adults and children and meets at 9:00 AM.
Experienced teachers conduct lessons that provide an understanding of the
Christian faith and how the Bible's lessons can be applied to our
spiritual journey through the secular world.
