St Andrew By The Sea - A Community Church

Praise.....Thanksgiving.....Worship......Joy......Gratitude........and More.

We are in our new church home.....where for years to come we will gather to praise God for what He had done in creating St. Andrew By The Sea......where for years to come we will offer thanks for his having blessed us with His vision of what we were to do.....where for years to come we will worship Him in spirit and in truth for allowing us to be His servants in this holy endeavor.....where for years to come we will know the joy of having allowed ourselves to follow where He led us ........ where for years to come we will be grateful for His love and the love of each other, as together, we continue this journey of faith, and where there is more to come if we seek and remain committed to His plan.  Thanks be to God, to our Pastor, and to every member of the congregation for the wonder and awe we feel today.  May we continue to feel these each time we enter this Sanctuary, His Sanctuary......this house of God, ...... which we have built, not only for ourselves, but for all who are to come after us.......to His eternal glory.  May it always be a place where those who enter find peace, serenity, comfort, and yes,......sanctuary.  May we remember, as well, that it is in our lives that he seeks to dwell, and that the building is a gathering place where we come together each week for fellowship, to hear His Word, and for encouragement and love, so we may leave refreshed and renewed to go out into the world and do His Will for our lives.   May the example of our lives lead others to seek what we have and to seek Him.

There are many people to thank for the completed structure we used today for the first time.  Hundreds have contributed, but no one has done more to ready this building than the two fellows shown below.  The photo was taken Saturday morning 26 May 2001 about 11:00 am.  It may have been the first rest and carefree moment either of them has enjoyed in the building for weeks.  Thanks John Wilson and Phil Bass for a job superbly done.  Thanks Mary and Boots for allowing them to be God's servants and ours as well.
